Unto the Members of the Shire Storm,

I attended Summer Art Sci last weekend and was most impressed at the many efforts your group made to enhance the ambience of the hall and the extra creature comforts you made available.

          I have been trying to encourage groups to use table cloths, candles and some sort of table decoration to add to the atmosphere of the hall for feast.  I also believe that the decorating of the main hall lends a more period feel to the event.  The wall hangings and table decor were wonderful.

          Also, it was such a luxury to be able to purchase water and sodas right in the hall and not have to interrupt what you were doing to go to the cabin for something to drink.  Since this was a very warm event I am sure this was greatly appreciated by all and certainly assisted the populace in staying well hydrated.

          I assisted for a short time at reservations on Friday night and was able to see first hand how quickly the crat crew responded to questions and problems the populace attending the event brought to them.

          I had a most enjoyable weekend and heard many positive comments about the efforts the group made to make this a good event.
